Transparency is not optional. In late 2025, formal ethics complaints were filed regarding the conduct of specific members of the Spalding County Board of Commissioners.
- The Issue: We are monitoring potential conflicts of interest and the dismissal of citizen concerns during public hearings.
- The Goal: A Board that adheres to the highest ethical standards, recusing themselves when conflicts arise and treating every constituent with respect.
Fair Taxation
Property tax assessments must reflect reality. Following the 2025 appeals to the Board of Equalization, we are gathering data to help other citizens challenge unfair valuations.
